Master Gardener Bonnie Orr and Ward Larson, owner of Ward’s Green Thumb grounds-keeping service, will lead three evening workshops on water-conserving landscaping on May 6, 14 and 22.

Runoff into Lake Chelan for April-July 2008 is expected to be about 107 percent of average, according to Chelan County PUD's April 1 forecast, slightly higher than the forecast of 98-103 percent made in March.

Construction on a new Manson Bay Parks Office Building to replace an older building that had to be demolished will begin Monday, April 7.
