URGENT: Emergency wastewater shutoff at Cedar Brae Road in Lake Wenatchee
LAKE WENATCHEE, WA – Chelan PUD initiated an emergency wastewater shutoff along Cedar Brae Road in the Lake Wenatchee service area. During storm cleanup, crews discovered a break in the sewer line at Nason Creek. Extensive flooding washed out an embankment, exposing the damaged line.
Key Information:
- All wastewater services on Cedar Brae Road are unavailable. Do not flush toilets or dispose of wastewater until further notice.
- Approximately 100 residential and commercial customers are impacted.
- Crews have manually turned off step tanks in the affected area and assessing repairs. Do not turn your step tanks back on.
- The outage is expected to last a few days.
- Electrical service is not impacted by the wastewater outage.
Chelan PUD is working to repair the break as quickly and safely as possible. Updates will be provided as more information is known.

Lake Wenatchee, WA – Chelan PUD ha iniciado una interrupción de emergencia del sistema de drenaje a lo largo de Cedar Brae Road en el área de servicio de Lake Wenatchee. Durante la limpieza tras la tormenta, nuestros técnicos descubrieron una rotura en la tubería de alcantarillado en Nason Creek.
