Chelan PUD will host a grand opening event to welcome customer-owners to the new Service Center at Olds Station, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the new administration building and then grab a cookie at Gerald’s. The café will be open to the public on weekdays for breakfast and lunch.
For the kids, there will be interactive games and activities with prizes. Check out Chelan PUD service trucks up close and talk to the crews about what they do.
A brief program and ribbon-cutting will take place at 10:15 a.m. and tours begin at 10:45 a.m. and run until 1:45 p.m. Throughout the event, food trucks will offer tasty treats.
After the ribbon-cutting, visitors are welcome to linger around the lovely landscaped plaza, visit information stations and check out a unique water feature that depicts the 11 hydroelectric dams of the Columbia River.

Customer service hours during the transition
In-person services at the Fifth Street campus will close Sept. 18-22 while staff relocate and get ready to welcome customers at the new Service Center. If you need help or have a question, call us at (509) 663-8121 or email contactus@chelanpud.org. In-person customer service, including the payment counter, will resume five days a week 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the new Service Center on Sept. 25.
