Coming Soon! Energy Upgrades Within Reach

Starting this fall, Chelan PUD will offer increased rebates for income-qualified households and make energy-saving home upgrades more affordable. Rebates can help with improvements like insulation, windows, heat pumps, and hybrid water heaters.

Income-Qualified Rebates

Chelan PUD's income-qualified rebates will be available to eligible customers starting in fall 2026.

In addition to the income-qualified rebates listed here, Chelan PUD also offers additional standard rebates for upgrades like smart thermostats, insulated entry doors, and more!

Important considerations:

  • The homeowner must live in the home as their primary residence to be eligible for income-qualified rebates.
  • The home must use permanently installed electric heating system as its primary source of heating during winter to qualify.
  • Please follow all requirements listed on the individual rebate pages.
  • In addition to the income-qualified rebates listed here, Chelan PUD also offers additional standard rebates for upgrades like smart thermostats, insulated entry doors, and more!

 

Will You Be Eligible?

Homeowners whose combined household income is at or below 120% of Chelan County's Area Median Income (AMI) may qualify for enhanced rebates.

If you receive Chelan PUD's 25% bill assistance discount, you'll be automatically eligible for the bigger rebates once they're available!

 

Developed Through Community Input

As part of Chelan PUD’s Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP), we worked with community partners, stakeholders, and customers to identify ways to expand access to energy benefits. The new income-qualified rebate program is a direct result of that collaborative process and supports the CEIP’s goal of serving income-qualified and historically underserved communities.
