Chelan PUD’s park and recreation system is designed and administered specifically to provide safe and enjoyable recreation for park visitors. To ensure this occurs, the following park rules apply to campers:

Chelan PUD campsites are not for residential use.

Campers and registered vehicles will be limited to ten (10) consecutive nights after which the campers must vacate the park for three (3) consecutive nights. Campers and registered vehicles will be limited to no more than twenty-one (21) days per year.

Reservations for campsites may be booked:
- March 1 at 10 a.m.: for April 15 - June 15
- May 3 at 10 a.m.: for June 16 - August 15
- June 1 at 10 a.m.: for August 16 - October 15

In order to afford the public the greatest possible use of Chelan PUD’s parks and provide camping on a fair and equal basis, campsites in those parks will be available by reservation only.

If arriving without a reservation, you must complete the reservation process prior to occupying a site.

The party registering (see Registered Camper, Section 1) for a campsite must occupy it each night. You must be 18 years old to register for a campsite. All members of a camping party regardless of arrival day will vacate on the same day as the original registered camper or sooner.

All campsites must be reserved through the Chelan PUD reservation system.

Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations must occur fourteen (14) days prior to the reservation arrival date to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations less than fourteen (14) days before the arrival date will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds are not issued for inclement weather, acts of nature or health related issues including Covid-19.

All campers must be courteous to other campers, park hosts, security, or park personnel.

All camping must be in areas specifically designated and/or marked for that purpose or as directed by Chelan PUD.

Check in time is no earlier than 1p.m.
-
Check-out time is no later than 11 a.m. Remaining in a campsite beyond the established checkout time may subject the occupant to the payment of a late fee equal to two additional days camping fee and/or suspension of camping privileges for the rest of the year.

Campers are limited to three (3) campsite reservations during the same time period.

The number of tents allowed at each campsite shall be limited to the number that will fit on the designated or developed tent pad as determined by Chelan PUD. Tents are not allowed on the grass.

All campsites must be reserved through the Chelan PUD reservation system. No secondary market purchases are allowed.

Camping reservation will be cancelled if the camping party fails to arrive within twenty-four (24) hours of the original check-in time of 1p.m. (See No Show, definitions)

Failure to occupy the parties registered site overnight will result in the cancellation of the camping reservation and no refund will be issued. The registered camper must occupy the campsite.

No person shall take or attempt to take possession of a campsite when it is being occupied by another camping party, or when informed by Chelan PUD that such site is occupied or has been taken out of service by Chelan PUD.

A maximum of eight (8) people shall be permitted at one campsite, unless otherwise authorized by Chelan PUD.

Campsites are not guaranteed. We reserve the right to change the site number on the reservation prior to arrival if necessary.

The number of vehicles occupying a campsite shall be limited to the vehicles that will fit within the designated campsite. No vehicles will be permitted to overhang on grass, tent pad or campground loop road.

Only one vehicle per campsite shall be permitted to utilize the power outlet. Power splitting is not permitted.

Registered Campers with a current reservation may park boat trailers in the day use boat launch parking lot during the time of their reservation.

Violators of Park rules may be asked to leave the park. Once asked to leave the park, the violator(s) will not be allowed to return to the park for the rest of the camping season.

Battery operated toy vehicles are prohibited in the parking lots, on roads and in the campground.

All personal items must be removed from the grass and all common areas nightly by 10 p.m.

For mowing and maintenance purposes, all personal items must be removed from the grass areas on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

All fires must be in the designated fire pits. Propane fire pits are not allowed on the grass. No discarding cooking oil, garbage or food.

The washing of vehicles, boats and RV’s is prohibited.

No person shall possess, discharge, set off, or cause to be discharged, in or into any park area, firecrackers, torpedoes, rockets, fireworks, explosives, or substance harmful to the life or safety of persons or property. This shall also include those devices denominated as “safe and sane” fireworks.

No cleaning of fish or other food or washing of any clothing or other articles for personal or household use, or any dog or other animal in the restrooms.

The disposal of carcasses is not allowed. Do not hang carcasses, dump carcasses or gut piles in the campground or any trash receptacles. Please field dress your animal. Dispose of all fish carcasses in deep water.

Chelan PUD staff, security, and law enforcement has the authority to interpret and enforce all rules.

Campsite must be left in the same or better condition than found.
