Sunnyslope Road Widening & Utility Upgrades

Chelan County Public Works is making improvements in the Sunnyslope area to widen roads, improve stormwater infrastructure, and create better pedestrian and bicycle facilities. As part of this work, Chelan PUD will also replace an aging water main, and relocate and/or upgrade utility poles.

Intersection Closure 

On Tuesday, May 17, from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., the intersection of Knowles Rd and American Fruit Road will be closed to through traffic while Chelan PUD mobilizes a crane to replace a utility pole. This will be in addition to any road closures currently in place by Chelan County Public Works. Please follow detour signage and use alternative routes.
