After 26 years of fun and play, it’s time for a playground makeover at Daroga State Park near Orondo. Chelan PUD and Washington State Parks want to hear from park visitors: What kinds of features do your kids enjoy?
Visit chelanpud.org/darogaplayground to take a short online survey. The survey includes questions about specific playground features, and it will offer open-ended questions where participants can share their thoughts on how to create an inclusive, safe space for kids. The survey closes Oct. 14.
The $220,000 project is scheduled to begin in spring 2023.
Daroga State Park is a 140-acre park owned by Chelan PUD and managed by Washington State Parks. The park also includes a campground, ball fields, picnic shelters and a boat launch.
