Easy St and School St Project

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

Chelan County PUD will relocate underground power lines and a utility pole near the Easy Street and School Street intersection to make room for Wenatchee Reclamation District’s irrigation pipe replacement and Chelan County Public Works planned roundabout.

WHEN & WHAT TO EXPECT

Project Timeline
Work is expected to begin in mid-October 2026 and take approximately three weeks.

Work Hours
Monday–Thursday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Traffic Impacts
Expect lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic through the work zone.

Power Outages
Brief power outages will be necessary as crews connect the relocated power lines. Affected customers will receive advance notice.

Construction Activities                                                                                                             
Chelan PUD’s contractor will perform directional drilling and install underground conduits. Chelan PUD crews will install the new power cables and relocate the utility pole after the new conduits are installed.

Expect typical construction noise during working hours.
