Important Update: Deadline for Chelan PUD 2025 Commercial Rebate Program Applications

It has been another successful year for energy efficiency across Chelan County! As we move toward the end of the year, the 2025 Commercial Rebate Program will close for submissions on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. This allows time to process remaining projects before the holidays as we prepare to launch the updated 2026 Commercial Rebate Program in Q1.

As we look ahead to 2026, we look to refine and strengthen our commercial programs by making participation simpler, communication clearer, and processes more consistent across all project types. The updated program is anticipated to launch in early Q1 2026, with improvements designed to make every step—from pre-approval to payment—more efficient and predictable.

We appreciate your patience as we take this time to make the program stronger and more responsive to the needs of our community. We’ll share the specific 2026 program opening date in Q1 once all updates are finalized.

Key Dates

To qualify for 2025 commercial project funding, all pre-approvals, installations, and final documentation must be submitted by the following deadlines:

  • Friday, November 21, 2025, 5:00 p.m. — Pre-approvals due
  • Friday, December 12, 2025, 5:00 p.m. — Installations and complete submissions due

 

What a “Complete Submission” Includes

  1. Completed and signed application
  2. Final invoice (dated on or before 12/12)
  3. Photos of both the existing and installed equipment
  4. AHRI Certificate (if applicable)
  5. W-9 form (for the rebate recipient)

 

Deadline Recap

  • The 2025 program closes Friday, December 12, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific.
  • Submissions received after this time will not be accepted.
  • Submit one email per project with all documents attached.
  • If you’re unsure about eligibility or required documents, reach out early — we’re happy to review materials before the deadline.
