Chelan PUD, in partnership with the City of Entiat, is planning an exciting upgrade to the playground at Entiat City Park. A survey is now available in English and Spanish, through the end of June, to get input from the Entiat community.
“The current equipment at Entiat City Park is aging, and so we’re partnering with the community to bring in new, modern play features designed to serve families for years to come,” said Chelan PUD Parks Manager Ryan Baker. “We’re inviting community members, park visitors, and families to help guide the design.”
This project will replace the existing playground with equipment that is:
- Safe and up to current codes
- Inclusive and accessible for a wide range of ages and abilities
- Durable and built for long-term use
- Fun and engaging for families and children
There are several playground design options under consideration. Community input will help determine preferences about climbing areas, slides, swings and other playground components.
The community survey will be open through June 30, followed by final design and construction in September 2026.
Public input plays a key role in creating a playground that reflects the needs and values of the Entiat community. For more information, visit: http://www.chelanpud.org/learning-center/in-your-neighborhood/entiat-city-park-playground-makeover
