Get ready for a day packed with fall fun! Bring your little pumpkins, superheroes, and silly monsters to the Fall Harvest Roundup at Rocky Reach Park this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Hop on a hayride, giggle along with L-Bow the Clown, play carnival games, and go trick-or-treating around the park — all for FREE! Costumes are encouraged (even for adults). Gates open at 12:30 p.m.
Kids can toss a lasso, knock over boots with beanbags, compete in relays, and find a fish in a haystack, all while learning about clean, renewable hydropower. L-Bow the Clown will perform at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Inside the Discovery Center, the fun keeps going with a spooky scavenger hunt spread across three floors of hands-on activities. Steer a steamship, crank a generator, and watch the coho, steelhead or chinook swimming by the full-length fish-viewing windows.
Feeling hungry after all that excitement? Head to the upper shelter for affordable, kid-approved bites, including hot dogs, nachos and chili by Mama D’s Café.
After the party’s over, the Discovery Center stays open year-round, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
