Chelan County PUD is auctioning slice products of the Rocky Reach Hydroelectric Project (RR) and the Rock Island Hydroelectric Project (RI). The combined slice of Rocky Reach and Rock Island Output is known as the "Chelan Power System Output". Delivery of Output for Slice Products 10, 11 and 12 begins HE 0100 P.P.T. on January 1, 2013 and ends HE 2400 (midnight) P.P.T. December 31, 2017. Chelan County PUD will evaluate the bids based upon the amount of the bids, operational issues and other factors as deemed appropriate in the discretion of the District. The Slice Products will be a percentage of output of the Chelan Power System, as applicable, located on the Columbia River. The slice percentages and delivery period effective dates are shown in the table below.

The available Output will be net of the following:
- Upstream and downstream encroachments, station service and losses to the Points of Delivery
- Consumption obligations that are a project responsibility (fish hatcheries, RR bypass, etc)
- Obligations with the Federal System associated with Immediate Spill Replacement
- Canadian Entitlement Allocation Extension Agreement project deliveries
- Adjustments for energy delivery rights that are a Project right under applicable laws or agreements (including but not limited to PNCA)
- Limitations imposed by Mid Columbia Hourly Coordination, Hanford Reach Fall Chinook Protection Program, Biological Opinion, and the HCP
- Reserves if generation is within Chelan County PUD's balancing authority
Scheduling: The generation can either be dynamically scheduled via a four (4) second dynamic signal through hourly coordination or hourly generation schedules can be submitted pre-schedule and real-time to manage the slice product within all constraints.
