Opportunities for redevelopment of the current Chelan PUD Headquarters campus at Fifth Street & North Wenatchee Avenue are part of the conversation about the PUD’s new Service Center in Olds Station. The City of Wenatchee, the Port of Chelan, the PUD and community members have been working since late spring to come up with recommendations for redevelopment opportunities for the 7.5 acres of prime real estate at the gateway to downtown Wenatchee when the PUD moves to Olds Station.
CollinsWoerman, the redevelopment consultant, created three different scenarios for potential uses on the site. The three mixed-use concepts are being studied by the three public agency partners to determine market viability and best uses at this premier location. In addition, the PUD, City and Port are trying to gain a better understanding of the scope of work and costs involved for needed improvements or infrastructure updates in order to attract potential developers or investors.
