Issues and Interests

At Chelan County PUD, we count knowledge and information among our most valuable assets. We dedicate millions of dollars to research, and we use what we learn to protect and enhance the environment for fish and wildlife while producing clean, renewable energy. We believe that sharing knowledge can help us all be better stewards of our world.

Community is invited to help shape Chelan County PUD's future

by Kimberlee Craig | May 22, 2019
Check your mailbox for our guide and take the survey – you could win a Fitbit!

OwnerGuide-Cover-2020Now is the time for Chelan County residents to help their PUD set its direction for the next five years. We’re asking community members to check their mailboxes this week for a guide about key PUD issues and to consider questions that will help Chelan PUD plan for 2020-2024.

If you’re willing to include your name and contact information on the survey, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a Fitbit! (Must be 18 or older.)

Strategic planning helps us provide the best value for the most people for the longest time. Your PUD is committed to building long-term value for you, while protecting against possible future financial downturns. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We hope community members will read the guide and then answer survey questions on key strategic issues. A paper survey and return mailer is included with the guide. People also can take it online starting May 24 at www.ourpublicpower.org. Also online are several short videos with more information.

Now’s the time to make your voice heard by mail or online. Your Chelan PUD wants to hear from you by June 21.  Go to ourpublicpower.org starting on May 24 and save time by submitting your ideas online.
