Power outage planned in Ollala Canyon on Wednesday

Chelan County PUD has scheduled a power outage from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, in Ollala Canyon near Cashmere to repair underground electric lines serving the area.

The outage will affect about 90 PUD customers living from the junction at Highway 2 to the end of Ollala Canyon Road. The outage is needed so that PUD crews can do the repairs safely and efficiently.
