Paving will close boat launch at Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park for three days

Work to make sure the boat launch at Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park south of East Wenatchee is in top shape to welcome boaters on Memorial Day weekend will require closing the launch on Monday, May 17, and Monday and Tuesday, May 24 and 25.  

Crews from MOE Asphalt of Wenatchee will repave, seal coat and repaint lines at the boat launch parking lot as part of regular maintenance for safety and durability at the Chelan County PUD park.

The company will also be patching sections of the park trail from the flag plaza toward the ball fields during the next two weeks. The trail will remain open with some short detours planned that will be marked with signs.
