Rating agencies affirm PUD’s good credit

Chief Financial Officer Joe Jarvis reports that three rating agencies have affirmed the PUD’s double-A credit  ratings for bonds that are about to be refinanced. One agency, Fitch Ratings, upgraded the PUD’s financial outlook from stable to positive. Both Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s kept the outlook at stable. Learn more here.


Board meetings to start at 11 a.m.

PUD commissioners have decided to start board meetings at 11 a.m., beginning in April. There will be a break for lunch, and meetings will continue at 1 p.m. The first meeting at the new time will be April 7.

Visitor Center to reopen March 15

Rocky Reach Visitor Center and the Museum of the Columbia will open for the season on March 15. Watch movies in the theater, watch adult salmon make their way up the fish ladder, eat at the café and take a guided tour of Rocky Reach Dam.
