Ready to go Lightly?

Chelan County PUD’s new online energy newsletter debuted this week. The newsletter, called Lightly, focuses on ways to tread easieLightly graphicr on the earth. Read how dedicated Wenatchee school employees helped save thousands of dollars in energy costs. Learn about the PUD’s “smart” meter pilot project. Watch a how-to video on weather stripping. Or get advice from our energy experts. PUD customers can sign up to receive e-mail notification each time a new issue is published by sending your e-mail address to conservation@chelanpud.org.


History to come alive

Wenatchee Valley history will come alive on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, Feb. 15 and 16, at "Personal Encounters with People of Our Past". The living history program will be presented simultaneously at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center and Chelan County PUD’s Museum of the Columbia at Rocky Reach Visitor Center. The program is free. The program will be presented from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, and the Rocky Reach Café will serve a five-course gourmet dinner Friday evening. Reservations for the dinner, which are required, can be made by calling (509) 661-4949.


PUD finishes year in good financial shape
