Commissioners review strategic objectives

PUD commissioners took the following steps:
- Set a public hearing for 2 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the Headquarters boardroom to discuss a petition to create a local utility district (LUD) for the Camas Meadows area.
- Discussed the commission calendar, including the possibility of moving PUD board meetings to Tuesdays to allow for more staff and board preparation on Monday. No decision was made.
- Reviewed several of the commission’s strategic objectives and listened to a presentation about the PUD’s updated strategy map and list of District values that are part of the PUD’s Balanced Scorecard strategic planning tool.
- Received the 2007 annual report of the PUD’s Audit Committee.

The next regular meeting of the PUD commission is at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, in the boardroom at PUD headquarters, 327 N. Wenatchee Ave.
