Car accident damages power pole

About 900 Chelan County PUD customers in Wenatchee were without power Thursday night following an accident in which a car struck a power pole at Orondo Avenue and Idaho Street about 6:30 p.m. Power was restored to most customers by 9:10 p.m. Repairs were also needed at Orondo and Hawthorn streets, and all customers were back in service by 2 a.m. Friday.
