Power restored in Wenatchee

PUD crews worked through the morning to restore power at 12:30 p.m. to customers in an area between Washington and Fifth streets from Miller to Western. About 250 customers had been without power for varying amounts of time since 6:55 a.m. on Wednesday.
Repairs included replacing a fuse at Orchard Avenue and Pershing Street and repairing an underground power cable near Fifth and Miller streets. System operators also redistributed the electric load for the area across the three phases of the line that brings electricity from the substation. Information to determine what caused the outage is still being analyzed.
