Installation of new dock requires Chelan boat launch closure July 16-19

Riverwalk Park boat launch in Chelan will be closed July 16-19 for installation of a new dock.

The old dock will be replaced with new composite decking and HDPE (high density polyethylene) floats, built by Blodgett Construction Associates, Malaga, for $77,400. Chelan County PUD Central Maintenance crews will remove the old dock and install the new sections.

Plans to close the Riverwalk boat launch in June were postponed based on availability of PUD crews.
