Free classes for children and adults at Rocky Reach

Rocky Reach Visitor Center is offering free weekly programs starting in mid-June and running through August for school-aged children and adults.
Taught by visitor center staff, kids’ classes are tailored for the grade school scientist and include materials with follow-up activities to do at home. First- through third-grade classes run from 9-10 a.m. and fourth- through sixth-grade classes run from 11 a.m. to noon. Class topics include magnets, rainbows, local geology and light bulbs.

Chelan County PUD welcomes visitors to tour the exhibits and the Museum of the Columbia at their leisure. Guides are on hand to answer questions and provide in-depth tours. The Visitor Center is open 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. daily including Saturday and Sunday.
Rocky Reach Dam is seven miles north of Wenatchee on Highway 97A.
