Columbia River walking bridge closed April 17 and 18

The bridge that carries the south end of the Apple Capital Loop Trail over the Columbia River will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, and Wednesday, April 18.

The closure is planned so a contractor for Chelan County PUD can safely do additional work on security cameras installed on the Wenatchee Reclamation District bridge. The cameras monitor the PUD's electric substation on South Worthen Street and are also monitored by the regional 911 center, RiverCom.
