Early-morning fiber maintenance outage planned for Leavenworth

Chelan County PUD Fiber Optic networks has scheduled a three-hour outage on its fiber system in Leavenworth starting at 1 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.
The outage will affect telephone and data services delivered over the PUD’s fiber-optic network to about 25 end-users in the Leavenworth area.
PUD fiber line crews will work on planned maintenance during early morning hours rerouting a fiber line in the Anderson Canyon area of Leavenworth. The crew will re-splice lit fibers first; therefore the actual outage in Leavenworth is expected to be less than one hour.
