Fiber services available to 203 more homes and businesses in Leavenworth

Fiber-optic construction is complete to an additional 203 Leavenworth homes and businesses. These premises are now ready to receive services from authorized service providers over Chelan County PUD’s open-access, fiber-optic network.
The 203 premises with new fiber network accessibility are in the areas:
- Along State Route 2 between Fourteenth Street and Joseph Street
- Mill, Third, Joseph, Scholze, West Commercial, and River streets
High-speed Internet and telephone services in these areas are available by placing a Fiber Connection Request with an authorized service provider. For a complete list of service providers, visit www.chelanpud.org/fiber or call 661-4151.
Chelan County PUD’s fiber carries all services over one single fiber, providing the convenience of one local contact, one bill and savings on bundled services.
Chelan County PUD is building a wholesale fiber-optic network to homes and business in Chelan County. More than 9,000 fiber drops have been constructed to homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and government offices. These residents now have an affordable choice for high-speed Internet and telephone services, with television coming in 2005.
